The main objective of the project is to allow students from different countries to make friends using the English language as a language of communication. The main focus is that they develop communication and social skills, promoting collaborative work and values such as respect and friendship, as well as digital literacy.
Students will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and meet friends from different countries, talk and write about different topics: family, pets, school life, friendship, food, likes and dislikes, physical description, the place where they live, summer holidays, festivities, cultural experiences, etc. Throughout the project, students will use different means of communication: letter, email, video, presentation, forum, live meeting/video conference, etc.
The project aims at broadening students’ insights and fostering the use the English language in a real and meaningful context using digital literacy.
